Mark has built a senior career across economics, commercial finance, financial services, consulting and executive leadership. His experience spans high-stakes decision-making, market design, regulatory and financial complexity, P&L leadership, compliance, fintech and venture-backed environments.

His background includes executive and advisory roles at S&P Global, Guardian Professional, DT Economics, the Malta Financial Services Authority, the Founders Bank project, Inviox Capital Ventures and Clarior Futura. Earlier in his career, he spent more than 20 years with KPMG Malta, including 15 years as Partner, and also served as Chief Executive Officer of KPMG in Libya.

Across these roles, Mark worked on consulting delivery, operations management, financial governance, regulatory strategy, commercial leadership and board-level decision support. He combines certified management accounting credentials with doctoral training in economics, bringing both analytical depth and practical leadership experience to complex business and policy environments.

Education and qualifications: PhD in Economics; Certified Management Accountant.
